From Cambridge Rail Station the quickest method is to get a taxi to New Hall (approx. 2miles).
You would be best to avoid rush hour times as the traffic in Cambridge is appalling and the buses don't get around that much quicker.
If you want to get a bus then get the Number TBA to the City Centre Bus Depot, then change to the Number TBA bus to New Hall.

Cheap flights to Stansted Airport
European Flights: London Stansted Airport (STN) (30mins to Cambridge -Train)
European Flights: Luton Airport (LTN) (1hr 45mins to Cambridge via London -Train)
International Flights: London Heathrow Airport (LHR) (2hrs to Cambridge -Train)
International Flights: London Gatwick Airport (LGW) (2hrs to Cambridge -Train)
 

If you plan to fly in then you would be advised to use the trains as these will give you the quickest & cheapest means to get to Cambridge.
Stansted Airport is the main hub for cheap European flights so you would be advised to use that airport if possible as it also benefits from its 30min direct rail link to Cambridge.

After arriving in the City Centre Bus Depot, change onto the RED Route 77, X5 or citi4 buses to New Hall.
